“The Dales” with Adrian Edmondson Episode 3, on ITV, 11th April 2011

Starting at the stepping stones at Bolton Abbey, Adrian Edmondson takes viewers on another tour of the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales in England. Overseeing the arrival of a steam train at Leyburn for the 1940’s weekend, there’s some concern over whether the train will be set up in time.

At Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale, farmer Amanda Owen goes “Mowdy-ing” with her children and explains why moles are unwelcome in grass fields. Over in Wensleydale, Tom Orde-Powlett shows Adrian the falcons that are due to entertain visitors at Bolton Castle and the barn owl he has lined up to deliver wedding rings for ceremonies in the Great Hall.

“The Dales” Episode 3 airs at 8pm on 11th April 2011 on ITV for UK viewers only.
