“Lewis: The Mind Has Mountains” Season 5 Ep 3 on ITV, 17th April 2011

An experiment with depression treatment goes horribly wrong and the traditional Lewis immediately suspects the strangely behaved Professor of Psychiatry may have something to do with it. Could the Detective Inspector be right or has his prejudice clouded his powers of observation.

By definition, all of the participants have mental health issues – even the researchers working on the project and their families have been treated for psychiatric problems and so the police investigation has to probe through personal lives and professional indiscretions to get to the truth.

More than anything, could the ketamine-based drug, which the drug trial participants have taken, be the cause of the death in the Oxford college?

“Lewis: The Mind Has Mountains” Season 5 Episode 3 airs at 9pm on 17th April 2011 on ITV for UK viewers only.
