Julia mckenzie as miss marple

Agatha Christie’s Marple: The Blue Geranium sees Marple doubt her own judgment. Popular as ever, she interrupts court proceedings to explain that she missed the mark with a death which occured some months earlier in the village of Little Ambrose.

Centring around the wonderfully shrill and abrasive character of Mary Pritchard. Those who must put up with her for the sake of her wealth are dismissive of her superstitious beliefs until her last prediction regarding the Blue Geranium comes true.

The truth of the matter lies somewhere between science and human nature.

Agatha Christie’s Marple: The Blue Geranium airs on ITV1 on 29th December 2010 at 8pm.
