‘My Dad Killed My Mum And Then Faked His Own Death – He Should Never Be Freed’ | This Morning

This Morning published this video item, entitled “‘My Dad Killed My Mum And Then Faked His Own Death – He Should Never Be Freed’ | This Morning” – below is their description.

It’s been almost forty years since Russell Causley murdered his wife Carole Packman but despite never revealing the whereabouts of her body, Causley will now face the UK’s first public parole hearing.

Amongst those watching closely will be his daughter, Sam Gillingham – who has been campaigning for years to ensure he’s never released from prison. She recounted a conversation that was overheard of her father speaking to his mistress saying: “I have already got rid of one wife, don’t make me get rid of another.”

Criminologist Dr Soham Das also joined to discuss more about the case being the first public hearing and the controlling behaviour of Russell Causley.

Broadcast on 04/10/22
