Micayla shares how overcoming COVID inspired her to work with the Los Angeles Community Action Network as the music director for Freedom Singers, a group comprised of Skid Row residents learning to process trauma through music. L.A. C.A.N. founder Pete White shares how the organization gives an often overlooked community an outlet to express their stories. Freedom Singers member Natosha shares how the program has boosted her confidence and thanks Pete and Micayla for everything they do.
