John Krasinski may be receiving positive reviews for his work writing and directing ‘A Quiet Place II’ but he says he had a major assist to pull it off – his wife Emily Blunt, who is also one of the movie’s stars.

Krasinski also says he contacted Millicent Simmonds, who plays his daughter in the fillm, over video-chat before he sent her the script, to tell her he wanted her to be the lead in the sequel.

“A Quiet Place Part II” debuts in theatres Friday May 28.
