Is It Time To Ditch Gender-Neutral Toilets? Concerns About Women’s Safety Sparks Debate | GMB

Good Morning Britain published this video item, entitled “Is It Time To Ditch Gender-Neutral Toilets? Concerns About Women’s Safety Sparks Debate | GMB” – below is their description.

Schools, hospitals, theatres and office buildings under construction must include separate lavatories for men and women, government minister Kemi Badenoch has ordered. The legal requirement for developers in England to include gender-specific lavatories comes after schoolchildren were avoiding using gender-neutral lavatories because they did not want to share them with the opposite sex. A Whitehall source said: “it is vital that women feel safe and comfortable when using public facilities and that there is a greater emphasis on provision that is focused on dignity, privacy, tolerance and respect for all.”
