Is Culture Secretary’s ‘The Crown’ Warning Necessary? | This Morning

This Morning published this video item, entitled “Is Culture Secretary’s ‘The Crown’ Warning Necessary? | This Morning” – below is their description.

Netflix’s The Crown has come under fire after the Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden demanded that the programme make it clear to viewers via a disclaimer that the show is a work of fiction. Royal biographer Hugo Vickers agrees and says the series is ‘disgraceful’ and tarnishing the reputation of the Royal family. Hugo joins us alongside Matthew Wright, who disagrees and says it’s obvious that it’s a drama and that all history is down to interpretation. Broadcast on 30/11/20
