Civil servant Dr Andrea Charles Fidelis was out jogging near her home in Kent and feared she was being followed by a man who thought she had stolen his car – all because he had seen her near his drive. Andrea sought sanctuary in a nearby railway station and desperate for help she phoned the police. However, when an officer arrived, she said that he then threatened her with arrest. Andrea is a mother of three, holds a doctorate, is a civil servant and a director on the Violent Crime Prevention Board and asks why she is assumed to be guilty. Sadly, Andrea fears it is because of the colour of her skin!
