The Holocaust, the Nazi regime of mass-murder and persecution, is commemorated the world over today – including memorials for the 1.1 million killed in Auschwitz death camp, liberated exactly 75 years ago today. Steven Frank’s father was murdered there before seven-year-old Steven, his mother and two brothers were sent to Westerbork transit camp and Theresienstadt ghetto near Prague. The 84-year-old Holocaust survivor tells his remarkable story.
