Heated Clash Over Whether Closure of Aquariums Could Result in Deadly Diseases For Humans | GMB

Good Morning Britain published this video item, entitled “Heated Clash Over Whether Closure of Aquariums Could Result in Deadly Diseases For Humans | GMB” – below is their description.

The Aspinall Foundation wants to free all fish from aquariums claiming that they are wrong and we do enough damage to marine life without keeping them in aquariums. Jennifer White from PETA believes fish are suffering because their tanks don’t replicate what their natural homes would be in the wild and there’s no reason for them to be in the aquariums but home aquarium owner John Elwell disagrees. He says releasing fish from aquariums into the wild could potentially introduce a disease that wild fish have got absolutely no immunity to.
