After testing positive twice for bovine tuberculosis, 8-year-old alpaca Geronimo has been sentenced to death – but his owner Helen MacDonald has said she’ll “take a bullet” before she lets that happen. As she lies in wait for the arrival of the firing squad, Helen joins us this morning alongside Geronimo to tell us why she’s now begging Carrie Johnson to convince her husband to save her best-friend. Helen will also be telling us why she believes the test results aren’t accurate, and sharing her plans to film Geronimo’s execution and put it online should she fail to save him.
