In Army of the Dead, an outbreak has turned everyone in Las Vegas into a zombie. Cut off from the rest of the world, the city is now overrun with the undead – here’s your briefing on the zombies you can expect to see in Army of the Dead. Sponsored by Netflix.

After a zombie outbreak turns the citizens of Las Vegas into the walking undead, the city is shut off from the rest of the world by a wall of shipping containers. Scott Ward (Dave Bautista) is recruited by casino owner Bly (Hiroyuki Sanada) to retrieve $200 million dollars locked away in a vault under the Las Vegas strip if Ward can assemble a team, survive the zombies, crack open the vault and make it out alive. The zombies in Army of the Dead include the classic slow-moving Shamblers and an elite zombie type known as Alphas, who are smarter, faster and more organised. Alphas follow orders from their zombie leader Zeus. The Queen is Zeus’ partner, and along with the zombie tiger Valentine, can be seen patrolling the zombies’ terrority. Ward and his team will have to face hordes of zombies as they make their way across apocalyptic Las Vegas. Directed by Zack Snyder, Army of the Dead is out now on Netflix.
