The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is a mixed bag that doesn’t quite balance its interesting central mystery with the scares followers of the franchise have come to expect. The movie opens in theaters and on HBO Max on June 4th, and stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren as the paranormal investigators got involved with the first case to have a defendant claim demonic possession as a defense.
