IGN published this video item, entitled “Star Trek: Picard – Official USS Stargazer Behind the Scenes Clip (2022) Jason Zimmerman” – below is their description.

Check out this exclusive clip from the brand new Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Blu-ray and DVD extra features. The piece digs into the creation of the U.S.S. Stargazer, the state-of-the-art starship from Season 2 that is captained by Cristobal “Chris” Rios (Santiago Cabrera).

In the featurette, the team discusses the inspiration and development of the USS Stargazer for Picard: Season Two. The segment features Jason Zimmerman (Supervising Producer), Michael Okuda (Graphic Designer), and Dave Blass (Production Designer)… plus a whole bunch of really sweet behind-the-scenes images of the starship being designed.

Star Trek: Picard Season 2 hits Blu-ray, DVD and limited-edition Blu-ray Steelbook on October 4 from Paramount+, CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.
