MetaVersus is a new free-to-play platform brawler being published by Warner Bros. Games which means the potential character roster is incredibly vast.

A lot of games try to be like Smash Bros. but the twist for MetaVersus is that the game is going to focus on 2v2 matches and the characters are all designed with co-op mechanics in mind.

It’s kind of an interesting choice for a Smash clone which could play out to be a little risky if the team-oriented mechanics don’t catch on. However, it seems like WB has put a lot of budget into the game and plans to support it for a while after release so it’s sure to attract an audience. Not to mention the company owns a good chunk of everyone’s childhood.
