Kena: Bridge of Spirits Blends God of War, Horizon, and Pikmin With Pixar-Level Animation

IGN published this video item, entitled “Kena: Bridge of Spirits Blends God of War, Horizon, and Pikmin With Pixar-Level Animation” – below is their description.

IGN’s Jonathon Dornbush went hands-on with Kena: Bridge of Spirits, the first game from Ember Lab. Playing a PC build of the upcoming adventure, Jonathon explored an early section of Kena’s journey.

Watch for a breakdown of Kena’s combat, including the addition of Kena’s bow to both fights and puzzle solving, as well as exploration around this original world. Jonathon discusses some of the clear inspirations, like God of War, Soulsbornes, and more, as he explored just a fraction of Kena’s world and fought with enemies large and small.

And learn more about the Rot, the adorable companions that are not only customizable with unlockable headwear, but actually have unique gameplay implications that will help players best some of Kena’s toughest foes.
