Well, in the comics Jennifer Walters’ origin went something like this: Her cousin Bruce – Bruce BANNER – came for a visit, but of course things went bad and Jen wound up getting shot by a crime boss. The only way Bruce could save his cousin was to give her a blood transfusion. And while Bruce’s blood wasn’t green, it WAS gamma-irradiated. And that’s how Jennifer Walters became the She-Hulk!
