Hawkeye Disney Plus Series Gets a First Look and Release Date – IGN Now

IGN published this video item, entitled “Hawkeye Disney Plus Series Gets a First Look and Release Date – IGN Now” – below is their description.

Entertainment Weekly revealed the first official image of Marvel’s Hawkeye, as well as the release date. The first episode of the series will premiere on Disney+ on November 24, 2021, just in time for Thanksgiving. New episodes will arrive every Wednesday thereafter. Hawkeye, inspired by the Marvel Comics series by Matt Fraction and David Aja, will star Jeremy Renner as the titular character, and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, a Hawkeye-in-training. Marvel hasn’t revealed their future plans for the character, but it’s very likely Steinfeld will replace Renner as the MCU’s Hawkeye in a new Avengers team, much like how Chris Evans passed the torch (or really, shield) to Anthony Mackie, and the latter officially took the title of Captain America in the Disney+ show, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Florence Pugh is also expected to make an appearance in the series, reprising her role as Yelena Belova from Black Widow. Are you excited to see Kate Bishop in the MCU? Let us know in the comments!

Thanksgiving is best known as a holiday celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday of November every year, usually through feasting, parades and travel to see family and friends, though celebrations were scaled back during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic.

The roots of the modern celebration lie in settlers celebrating their arrival in the Americas in the early 1600’s. It has been a public holiday since 1941 due to federal legislation, an annual tradition in the United States by presidential proclamation since 1863 and by state legislation since the Founding Fathers of the United States.

Traditionally, Thanksgiving has been a celebration of the blessings of the year, including the harvest. What Americans call the “Holiday Season” generally begins with Thanksgiving. The first day after Thanksgiving Day—Black Friday—marks the start of the Christmas shopping season.
