The Halo Infinite technical test build deployed over the weekend was supposedly data mined and among the things discovered was an audio clip of classic Halo announcer, Jeff Steitzer saying the words “Battle Royale.”
Despite earlier reports from 343 Industries and developers working on the game back in 2019 the existence of the clip has a lot of fans speculating all the different implications the clip could have.
Is the new Halo going to have an official Battle Royale mode eventually? Maybe it’s just a custom variant for Forge, or perhaps a medal or description for a scenario that could happen mid-match.
Who’s to say? And at this point 343 hasn’t commented officially so the rumors will continue to run wild until they do or Halo Infinite comes out and all is revealed.
We have got all the details in the video above so check it out and feel free to leave a comment about what you think would make a Halo-themed Battle Royale mode stand above the rest.
