Did Xbox lie about CROSS-GEN? – Inside Gaming Roundup

The Xbox Summer Showcase finally happened, but there have been some CROSSED wires when it comes to CROSS-gen (haha, a joke). Leading up to the Xbox first-party showcase, Xbox boss Phil Spencer blogged that all Xbox Exclusives would be cross-gen for the next couple of years. However, games that were announced for the Xbox exclusively during the showcase have not been listed as being available on the Xbox One. OOoooooo SCANDAL! If lies weren’t bad enough, some concerning reports say we are about to start experiencing the impact of Covid-19 in the games industry. At least it’s not all doom and gloom this weekend because it looks like we’ve got 4K 60fps mode coming alongside the release of Spider-Man: Miles Morales – also, Metacritic is finally deciding to do something about those pesky review bombers. And lastly, this week’s Roundup wouldn’t be complete without a 5-Second Review of Paper Mario: The Origami King. Have a good one!
