Cyberpunk 2077 is finally back on the PlayStation Store and although it’s running better it still has some pretty serious issues. CD Projekt Red themselves recommend playing on an upgraded PS4 Pro or Xbox Series X and reminded all the potential PS4 buyers that they will get a free next-gen upgrade.

It’s unfortunate that Cyberpunk came out when it did and in the state it did but hopefully CD Projekt Red continues to improve all versions of the game and it’s a lesson for the entire industry going forward.

In other news, Phil Spencer spoke casually about Halo Infinite and bringing back Killer Instinct on the Dropped Frames podcast. A data miner might have discovered an early alpha for Dragon Age 4, Nintendo poured some cold water on the recent Switch Pro rumors, and Marvel’s Avengers has a very bad bug.

This week’s 5-Second Review makes the entirety of a very boring sport palatable and the Coming Soon section has a couple weird ones.

Thanks for tuning in and have a great weekend!

Announced in 2019 as the successor to the PlayStation 4, it is scheduled to launch on November 12, 2020 in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea, and on November 19, 2020 for the rest of the world.

The platform is anticipated to launch in two varieties, as a base PlayStation 5 system incorporating an Ultra HD Blu-ray compatible optical disc drive for retail game support alongside digital distribution via the PlayStation Store, and a lower-cost Digital variant lacking the disc drive while retaining digital download support.

The PlayStation 5 features a customized solid state drive designed for high-speed data streaming to enable significant improvements in graphical performance. The hardware also features a custom AMD GPU capable of ray tracing, support for 4K resolution displays and high framerates, new audio hardware for real-time 3D audio effects, and backward compatibility with most PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR games.
