Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is almost here from Paramount Pictures and if the marketing can be trusted, the movie should be pretty similar to Sonic 2, the original Sega video game released back in 1992. The game featured Tails and later Knuckles as characters in the Sonic universe. So will Tails and Knuckles appear in Sonic 2 along with Jim Carrey starring as Dr. Robotnik? And if so, will they be the only deep cut sonic video game references in the film? IGN host Kim Horcher runs down a list of deep cut Sonic video game references we hope appear in the new sonic movie.
