IGN published this video item, entitled “Console Wars Documentary – Official Trailer (CBS All Access) Sega & Nintendo” – below is their description.
The battle between Sega and Nintendo for supremacy in the video game marketplace in the 1990s is chronicled in this documentary set to premiere on CBS All Access on September 23, 2020.
As recalled by those who fought the battles, Console Wars recounts how Sega took on the world’s biggest game company, Nintendo, in a true David vs. Goliath — er, Sonic vs. Mario — conflict.
The documentary, produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, is adapted from Blake J. Harris’s 2014 book, Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo, and the Battle That Defined a Generation.
