Anthem’s Fate Rests in EA’s Hands After Internal Review – IGN Now

IGN published this video item, entitled “Anthem’s Fate Rests in EA’s Hands After Internal Review – IGN Now” – below is their description.

BioWare’s troubled sci-fi shooter Anthem is supposed to get another shot with the Anthem Next update, but that is now in doubt. An internal review from Electronic Arts will take a look at the latest version of the project, and based on how that goes, they will decide to either expand the Anthem Next team, or cancel the project entirely. Cancelling will effectively kill the game, as the version that’s currently live has struggled to keep players interested. However, the Anthem Next project is hoping for a No Man’s Sky-esque comeback, as BioWare plans to overhaul several of the game’s mechanics and systems.
