Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) is an American basic cable channel jointly owned by Discovery Inc. and Harpo Studios that launched on January 1, 2011, replacing the Discovery Health Channel.
Initially a 50/50 joint venture, Discovery acquired a larger stake in the network in 2017. Harpo remains a “significant” minority stakeholder and Winfrey is contracted with the channel through at least 2025.
As of February 2015, OWN is available to approximately 81.9 million pay television households (70.3% of households with television) in the United States.

G. Garvin’s Lobster and Lump Crab Mac ’n’ Cheese Recipe
The amounts here are shown in the video, but not specific – add more / less of the cheese to your taste, and you can replace with another type of cheese (from your fridge). Try to have fun! Leave your own comments, below, if you have a favorite substitute ingredient.
- Cup of flour
- 3 ladles of milk & cream
- Macaroni or other pasta, cooked
- Dried mustard
- Garlic salt
- Ground paprika
- White cheddar
- Sharp cheddar
- Cooked lobster
- Lump crab
- Crispy bacon
- Preheat oven to 500°F
- Melt butter in a wide pan
- Add flour and mix
- Whisk in milk & cream
- Season with dried mustard
- Fold in cheese
- Melt butter in another pan
- Add chopped lobster & lump crab
- Mix all together in an ovenproof dish
- Top with breadcrumbs, thyme & crispy bacon
- Put into oven at 500°F until bubbling and golden brown
