Emmerdale star Tony Audenshaw has played Bob Hope in Emmerdale since 2000. But behind his funny character Tony has been struggling with a devastating loss, after his wife Ruth passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2017. Pancreatic is the deadliest common cancer and survival rates have barely improved in 50 years. Tony joins us in the studio today to tell us more, alongside Dr Semiya who will be explaining what signs to look out for. Tony will be taking part in ‘Ride London’ a charity cycle in his wife’s honour.
