Lorraine published this video item, entitled “Emmerdale’s Charlotte Bellamy Urges Viewers to Watch Her Storyline Before Making Judgment | Lorraine” – below is their description.

Charlotte Bellamy has starred as Laurel in Emmerdale for 18 years now, as the character has lurched from one dramatic crisis to the next – alcoholism, dementia, cot death and bullying. But later this month will see one of Emmerdale’s most controversial storylines start – after discovering she is pregnant, Laurel and partner Jai will decide to have a termination after discovering the unborn baby will be born with Down’s Syndrome. The storyline was announced last week, and has already proven controversial online. Charlotte responds to the criticism, and also reveals how social distancing has changed the way Emmerdale is filmed, as well as her favourite moment filming amongst all those dramatic moments. Broadcast on 10/11/20
