This summer, Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford helped persuade the government to continue providing free school meal vouchers during the school holidays. This week he was awarded an MBE and this morning he has launched a government petition to end child poverty in Britain which is backed by the actor and campaigner Emma Thompson who has teamed up with the footballer to end child poverty and food hunger. 18 year old Jani Clarke-Isaac explains what it was like to experience food poverty growing up.
