Elizabeth Hurley is taking part in a live virtual event this evening to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and will be joined by a number of inspiring women including Alesha Dixon and our very own producer Helen Addis who came up with our Change and Check campaign. Elizabeth reveals that she hopes it will be the biggest live self check event where anyone can join at 7pm to hear stories from breast cancer survivors and hear all about how to self check. With 1 in 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer and a diagnosis occurring every 15 seconds around the world it is more important than ever that we take care of ourselves and learn how to properly self check. Elizabeth reveals she has been a global ambassador for breast cancer campaigns for over 25 years because she sadly lost her grandmother to breast cancer and will always spread awareness until we live in a breast cancer free world! Elizabeth also reveals what lockdown was like with 9 of them, how they all actually lost weight and what lockdown was like with her teenage son Damien.
