Downton Abbey’s “Sybil” to Star Alongside Colin Farrell in “Winter’s Tale”

Jessica Brown Findlay, who played the ill-fated third daughter of the Earl of Grantham in ITV’s Downton Abbey, will star alongside Colin Farrell in the upcoming story of miracles Winter’s Tale.

The Warner Bros. film is set to feature a host of top names including Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind), William Hurt (Kiss of the Spider Woman), Eva Marie Saint (On the Waterfront) and Russell Crowe (Gladiator). It also introduces young newcomers Ripley Sobo and Mckayla Twiggs (both from Broadway’s Once).

Based on the novel by Mark Helprin, Winter’s Tale is set in a mythic New York City and spans more than a century, exploring crossed destinies and the age-old battle between good and evil.

Winter’s Tale will hit cinemas in North America from 14th February 2014.
