The Royal Family traditionally spend New Year at Sandringham House in Norfolk. Although, while the Queen’s children were small, the Royal Family would spend the festive period at Windsor Castle. But, in 1988, they returned again to Sandringham for their festivities.
This year, Covid has forced Her Majesty to spend the Christmas period in Windsor. As it did last year too, with her beloved husband Philip.
