For Cervical Cancer Prevention Week, former Corrie star Katie McGlynn filmed her routine smear test to send a clear message to anybody who is putting theirs off. This comes after her character on Coronation Street died due to cervical cancer back in 2019. She also chats to Dr Hilary who answers all of her questions and concerns and they both encourage women to attend screenings and be aware of the symptoms of cervical cancer.
