“But a whisper, told by the trees” Anchorman 2 – Out December 2013

The undeniable genius of cheesy news anchorman, Ron Burgundy, will return to cinema screens in New Zealand, Australia, the US and UK from mid December 2013.

This time, Ron and his news team colleagues will have to cope with the changing social mores of the eighties, including yet more women in the workplace, 24 hour news coverage and a whole new fashion style.

The action takes place in New York – away from the original home of the news team in San Diego. There’s a love interest for Brick and stripy ties for the newsmen. Wes Mantooth (Vince Vaughn) is expected to make a return and Harrison Ford may even put in an appearance.

The much anticipated sequel is set for a blockbusting December release – with Steve Carell (Brick) saying of the atmosphere on shoot: “we laughed until we cried every day”.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is out in cinemas from 19th December 2013.
