Britney Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, spoke out against Jamie Spears’ alleged surveillance of his daughter’s phone and private moments. The shocking claims were part of the latest documentary about the pop icon’s conservatorship battle, ‘The New York Times Presents: Controlling Britney Spears,’ from Hulu and FX. In the movie released on Friday, Rosengart responded to the allegations in a statement, which read in part, ‘Any unauthorized intercepting or monitoring of Britney’s communications — especially attorney-client communications, which are a sacrosanct part of the legal system — would represent a shameful violation of her privacy rights and a striking example of the deprivation of her civil liberties.’
