Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Michaela Coel and More Share Their Career ‘Turning Points’

On Demand Entertainment published this video item, entitled “Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Michaela Coel and More Share Their Career ‘Turning Points'” – below is their description.

A host of British stars of stage and screen, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Michaela Coel and George MacKay have added their support to theatre workers facing joblessness and poverty during the coronavirus pandemic

The stars – also including James Norton and Luke Thompson – are supporting a campaign for the Theatre Artists Fund, in the lead-up to the 16 March anniversary of UK theatres closing due to the pandemic.

The actors have each recorded videos revealing their ‘turning point’ – a moment in their career when they were almost forced to give up but received a vital helping hand – to encourage public donations for the Fund, which provides emergency financial aid to struggling freelance theatre workers, both on stage and behind the scenes.
