I Never feel compelled to write on TV Commentary, but Seth Meyers analysis and call for the evacuation of all refugees who wish to leave Afghanistan was so well presented, argued, and delivered with obvious compassion and conviction tonight, 8/17/2001. Thus I applaud and thank him for his straight-forward courage in stating his beliefs and convictions, which I heartily agree. Further, I feel that women and girls should be the First to be allowed to line up to leave. The best thing that could punish the Taliban would be if ALL females leave their God-forsaken country immediately. I know this won’t happen, but it’s a shame, because the absence of value or appreciation the Islamic Taliban religious ethos practices towards women is an abomination. No male believing these zenophobic beliefs should have the privilege of any kind of support from a female, from keeping their homes, cooking their food, bearing their children, etc. I’m serious about this proposal. The absence of women might allow Taliban males to rethink their horrific beliefs.
