A YouGov poll shared exclusively with GMB suggests that 17% of parents in England and Wales are considering keeping their children out of school this September due to concerns over Coronavirus. The poll also found that 36% were against secondary school children having to wear facemasks while almost half (48%) believed it was unfair to fine parents who kept their children home from school due to fears over Covid safety. Over 110k people have so far signed a petition asking the government not to fine parents refusing to send their children back, so should they have the choice?
