When husband and wife, Vanner and Donna Johnson bought a DNA-testing kit, they were hoping to learn a little more about their heritage. But when they got the results, their whole world was turned upside-down. The couple learned that their 13 year-old son, who had been conceived via IVF, was not Vanner’s biological child. A mix-up at the clinic resulted in Donna’s egg accidentally being fertilised by a stranger’s sperm. The heartbroken couple made the decision to track down the accidental donor, Devin McNeil, and reveal the truth.
