Earthquake Strikes on Border of Thailand and Myanmar

At 13:30 UTC on Friday 25th March 2011, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred on the border of Thailand and Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). The tremours were felt in Hanoi and Bangkok.

World Vision staff were in Yangon at the time of the earthquake and reported damage to villages and the risk of landslides following the tremours.
