“Protective approach for patients is extremely important,” said Dr. Peng Zhiyong, director of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Zhongnan Hospital, Wuhan University, during a live show where he shared treatment experience on the COVID-19 front line with U.S. doctors and experts from the National Institutes of Health and Johns Hopkins University on April 3, 2020 in Wuhan, Central China’s Hubei Province. Dr. Peng also emphasized some key points on ventilation support for COVID-19 patients.
