The center is expected to house a further 2,500 beds, and patients with mild symptoms will be transferred there from existing hospitals. According to the Johns Hopkins University tracker, there are now over 9,000 confirmed cases in the state of Illinois, where Chicago is located. #coronavirus #COVID-19
