A poll conducted by the Financial Times and the Peterson foundation reveals that almost two-thirds of American voters say they are now worse off, or haven’t seen any improvement financially, than they were at the start of Donald Trump’s presidency, casting doubt on whether economic expansion and a record bull market will boost the president’s re-election campaign in 2020.
