Where the U.S. Development Finance Corporation Invests in Emerging Markets

Jul.02 — As the newest U.S. agency, the International Development Finance Corporation has $60 billion from Congress to invest in emerging-markets in ways that advance U.S. foreign policy. Chief Executive Officer Adam Boehler says in six months he’s spent roughly a third of that. He spoke to Simone Foxman in Doha about how he’s helping the U.S. take on Chinese infrastructure companies like Huawei and ZTE.
