Renault to Cut 14,600 Jobs Worldwide

May.29 — Renault SA is cutting about 14,600 jobs worldwide, about 8% of all roles. The French car maker will also lower production capacity by almost one-fifth in a bid to outlast the downturn rocking the global auto industry. The car maker hopes the plan will save the company 2 billion-euros over three years. Bloomberg’s Christoph Rauwald reports on “Bloomberg Markets: European Open.”
