Aug.05 — The lockdowns have become an opportunity for cities to speed up the process towards mobility change. Adria Gomila, the chief of mobility services in Barcelona, and his team have transformed the landscape of the Spanish city. Instead of busy traffic, now there are 13 miles of new, bright yellow bike lanes painted over the old car lanes. The once-distant future of bike cities is now looking closer after the pandemic.
