Thor: love and thunder exclusive deleted scene (2022) chris hemsworth, tessa thompson, taika waititi

IGN published this video item, entitled “Thor: Love and Thunder Exclusive Deleted Scene (2022) Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Taika Waititi” – below is their description.

Thor: Love and Thunder featured a plethora of gods from the MCU, but some received far more screen time than others. IGN’s exclusive deleted scene from the Taika Waititi-directed romp gives fans their first extended look at the Greek god of fertility Dionysus, played by veteran stage and screen actor Simon Russell Beale (Penny Dreadful, The Legend of Tarzan).

While Dionysus still appears as a background character during Love and Thunder’s Omnipotence City sequence, this deleted scene reveals Dionysus originally had a somewhat larger role.

In the scene, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and Korg (Waititi) arrive in Omnipotence City looking for Zeus (played by Russell Crowe). They happen across the pompous and pampered Dionysus, who proceeds to name-drop his daddy Zeus and give away his whereabouts.

Thor: Love and Thunder arrives on Disney+ and digital on September 8 and 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 27.
