Dave Lapham In The Trenches published this video item, entitled “Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid | Preparing for AFC Championship game vs Cincinnati Bengals” – below is their description.
Kansas City Chief’s head coach Andy Reid talks to the media about the upcoming AFC title game. Obviously a lot of questions surround the health of their quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain in Saturday’s playoff win over the Jaguars.
The Bengals on the other hand are coming off their biggest win of the season and dominated the favorite Buffalo Bills. Burrow is undefeated against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, ending their season last year as the Bengals made their underdog run to the Super Bowl. They are looking to do it again and do it again in the same building as the Bengals will go on the road again for another hostile playoff game.
This is the first time in franchise history the Bengals have gone to back to back AFC Championship games. While the Chiefs became the first team to host five straight conference championship games.
It all comes down to Sunday. Part 4 of Burrow vs Mahomes with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line again. Get your popcorn ready.

Since 2004, the game has been played on the first Sunday in February. It is the culmination of a regular season that begins in the late summer of the previous year.
The game was created as part of a 1966 merger agreement between the NFL and its rival the American Football League (AFL). The first game was played on January 15, 1967, after both leagues had completed their respective 1966 seasons. After the merger, each league was re-designated as a “conference”, and the game has since been played between the conference champions to determine the NFL’s league champion.
