Top DJ, David Guetta, has signed a deal with a Coca-Cola energy drinks brand, Burn, to create a documentary and run a music production competition. The brand will also distribute samplers at Guetta’s “F*** Me I’m Famous” (FMIF) parties in Ibiza.
The Burn energy drink is available in three flavours: Apple Blackcurrant, Apple Kiwi and Pineapple. Its makers hope that Guetta will bring a sprinkling of celebrity kudos as well as the support of millions of fans.
Emmanuel Seuge, the Group Director of Worldwide Sports and Entertainment Marketing at The Coca-Cola Company explained:
“The vision of burn and Guetta is to fuel the passion to be bold, ambitious and fearless. Guetta is the perfect partner for that. What will unfold over the next two years we hope will entice Guetta fans to join the burn revolution.”
David Guetta produced “I Gotta Feeling” for the Black Eyed Peas in 2009 and has since sold 3 million albums, 20 million singles and gained 16 million Facebook followers.
