India Eases World’s Largest Lockdown to Revive Growth

Apr.21 — Pranjul Bhandari, chief India economist at HSBC Holdings Plc, discusses how the coronavirus outbreak is affecting the economy. India has recorded 18,539 cases and 592 deaths linked to the global health crisis, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. Meanwhile, India’s industrialists are tentatively reopening their factories, as the government eases the world’s biggest lockdown. Bhandari speaks on “Bloomberg Markets: Asia.”
